Project engineer
Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 per annum
Hours: Mon to Fri (39 Hours a week)
Duration: Permanent

UK Loco Limited based in Cropthorne, Worcestershire has an immediate position available
for a Project Engineer to join its experienced office engineering team.
The company principally manufactures bespoke equipment for the theme park industry for both British and foreign customers.
The role involves collaborating with the team at all levels during the project process from order stage through to completion, carrying out the following responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities
· Produce project schedules, monitor, and update project progress and produce monthly progress reports for the customer.
· Coordination of projects from order placement to data dossier submission. Interpret customer design requirements from data sheets, drawings, and specifications.
· Occasional visits to customer sites for progress meetings.
· Checking detailed fabrication drawings using 2D AutoCAD and/or 3D E-Drawings software.
· Assisting in the production of RAMS and O & M manuals.
· Assisting in collating quality control documentation.
· Liaise with customers, inspectors and third-party personnel on and off site.
Requirements
· Qualification in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
· A competent user of Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical bias.
· Some knowledge of BIM360, E-drawings and/or AutoCAD 2D software an advantage.
· Motivated with strong communication, organisation and multi-tasking skills.
· Knowledge of BS EN 13814 or BS EN 1090 design codes would be beneficial though not essential.
· Experience in a similar role controlling projects for manufacture of bespoke equipment.
